i have heard that general knowledge and current affairs is asked too. My GK and CA is very poor to say the least.please suggest me tips how to prepare for these two subjects. also can someone please tell me what exactly will be the pattern of the entrance examinations? what is 3d modellingisit hard?

You haven't mention you're enquiring about which exam, anyway the best source for general knowledge and current affairs is reading newspaper on a daily basis so that you'll be acquainted with latest happenings and don't have to mug up every little details,the best choice is always The Hindu or you can also go through The Indian Express, there are magazines like Pratiyogipta Darpan which is a very good magazine, lot of websites also provide monthly compilations, you can use that as well.
