TECHIO SAYAN 16th Dec, 2021

Hi,

The course is taught in four term modules including international immersion in last module. The mean salary of Executive MBA graduates from IIM Bangalore was Rs. 23.5 lakh per annum for the year 2018.  The eligibility criteria for the Executive management program is as follows:

Applicants from SC ,ST and PwD categories should have a minimum of 45% or equivalent CGPA. [*Applicant/s who have not undergone any Bachelors Degree but completed their CA/ICWA/CS after Class XII, are also eligible to apply for EPGP 2022. The requirement of minimum percentage marks /CGPA remains same as mentioned above]

i am planning to pursue mba in future...so should i choose regular bcom with certified prgm in general management or bcom prof. with coaching in cs and certified prgm in general management???

shreyakhedkar05 25th Jul, 2021
Hello,
Master of Business Administration(MBA) is a two-year program. You can pursue your graduation in any field like BBA, B.Com, B.tech, BA, BCA, etc. Graduation from any field is accepted for the MBA program.
There are many specializations in MBA like sales, marketing, Operation, Finance, Human Resources, Digital Marketing, etc.
If your main goal is to pursue MBA from a good college then you should be well prepared for the entrance exam. The only advantage you will be having is the basic knowledge of economics, business planning, marketing, finance, accounting, etc as compared to other graduates from different fields. But for entrances, you'll have to equally work like others to crack the exam with good marks.
It totally depends on your area of interest what you want to choose for your graduation.
Hope this will help, All the best.!!

which course is best BSc , BA ???

Niranjana 11th Jul, 2021

Hello,

As you can guess, it all relies on what you want to get out of your education. In general, BSc topics are more specialised and may be targeted to a certain scientific or technical job, whereas BA degrees promote critical thinking and study across a variety of disciplines/historical eras, and so are more broad in scope.

Also you have not specified the interested domains .

There is no such thing as a better bachelor's degree, and it is a prevalent misunderstanding in India that one degree is superior to another. However, all bachelor degrees, whether BA, BSc, Bcom, Btech, or even a 5 year LLB or architecture or a 5 year MBBS, are as significant and equivalent to other bachelor degrees.

  • BA will be simpler for someone who enjoys reading a lot and is interested in history and literature, but finds science, technology, and solving mathematical problems difficult. For someone who is good at logical thinking or arithmetic and enjoys science and technology, a BSc will be simpler.

What matters is what interests you, whether it's BA specialisations, BSc , Bcoms, Btech, law specialisations, medicine specialisations, architecture specialisations, or any other specialisation. You should choose a degree based on your interests rather than  misconceptions about which degree is better .

Hope it helped

Thank you
