what is the syllabus for PGCET of gujrat University in human genetics

For admission in M tech in human genetics candidate has to qualify the GATE exam or to qualify PGCET Gujarat for taking admission in Mtech in human genetics. for appearing PGCET Gujarat for taking admission in Mtech in human genetics and candidate should have the qualification of BSc human genetics or MSc in genetics or BE/BTech in human genetics. Like all other engineering courses like electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronix engineering biomedical engineering , electronics and communication engineering, computer science  engineering Engineering mathematics is a common subject in the syllabus, and the other subject is human genetics and plant genetics for PGCET of Gujarat for taking admission in Mtech in human genetics.

Hi,

He can go for
B.sc.(genetics) or
B.sc.(hons)(genetics)...
Both are different but the latter is superior in terms of syllabus....And they are 3 years i.e. 6 semesters course...Some colleges have their own entrance exams for the admission process...Apart am mentioning some colleges with fee structure which you can go for..

1.Kristu Jayanti College, Banglore with INR 1.83 lacs
2.Amity University, Noida with INR 3 lacs
3.LPU, Jalandhar with INR 3.6 to 3.84 lacs
For lpu there will be an entrance test as I said above
i.e. LPU NEST
4.Amity University, Punjab with INR 2.2 to 5.2 lacs
5.M.S.Ramaiah College, Banglore with INR 53.91k

Can I do human genetics and molecular biology after complete my bsc biochemistry

Dear student,

I have answered a very similar question recently after my research and best of knowledge, so I will try to answer this question in the similar way.

Let us see what is the eligibility criteria for pursuing MSc in human genetics and molecular biology.

  • The student should have completed a Bachelor's degree(B.Sc) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field from a registered or recognised university or college, with a minimum of 50%(in general) in the Science stream.

So, yes, you can pursue MSC in human genetics and Molecular biology after BSc Biochemistry. These courses are being offered at IISERs and IITs and you can get admitted by writing JAM exam.
