my ap eamcet rank is 65023 and local +sc cateogry rank is 1181 in svu region can iget geo informatics in andhra university or any branch in jntu k or au or cse or ece or eee in svu..?
Dear Aspirant,
Both Andhra University and Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University are one of the best Institutes of the state. At a general rank of 65023, it is highly unlikely that you will be offered a seat in these Government Institutes.
The only way by which you can get admission in any of the above mentioned branches is through your category rank which is the SC or Scheduled Caste Category. As far as the branch of geo-informatics is concerned in Andhra University, the general cutoff rank for SC students is close to 90000. Your general rank is way within this cutoff rank and so you definitely can get admission in geo-informatics in AU.
Now as far as other branches are concerned like you have mentioned above that of computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, etc, there is no way that you can get admission in those branches. The cutoffs for these branches are way too low and you need to have a very good quota rank in order to be part of such Imperial Institutes.
The same goes for Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University as well where you require a much better rank in order to seek admission in that Institute.
In case you might consider getting admission in other colleges and want to keep your options open, you can always compare these colleges by just clicking on this link:-

Hello, I am studying b.tech 3rd year geoinformatics in Andhra University. We can attempt GG and CE papers in GATE exam but the syllabus is quite different. So we would prefer to have a different paper for our branch. How do we bring this into notice.
In order to bring your issue to notice you can write a mail to the conducting authorities. Visit the official website and write to them regarding your troubles. GATE exam is conducted by 7 IITs and IISC.

Is geo informatics branch in Andhra university, Visakhapatnam is better to study are there good placements for this branch?
Geo-informatics is a diverse and interesting course. Here in Andhra University, you need to progress yourself. There are people who willing to help you, only if you ask them to help too. You will experience a good feeling in course but that is not sufficient. The department provides you a good lab and high profile teachers. Placements are relatively less. Core placements are weak.
This university is good only if you can do hardwork by own also.
Hope this will help you.
Good luck
is geoinformatics a good course , anyone please answer me regarding the placements in this course in anna university with the salary package
Mr.Giruthick
The geo informatics is a good course if you study in anna university and you will have good placements either in core companies or other companies.
I hope this helps you.
