1st and 2nd year MSc students are eligible for gate exam based on their qualifying degree. you can give GATE exam in geology after completing your BSc degree in geology so through GATE exam you can complete your MSc. PSU have started recruiting through gate exam.

Sorry to say but there is no single NIT that offers BSC and MSC courses. If you are comfortable with a dual degree program then you can apply for NIT as well as for IIT to pursuing BSC+ MSC together. Also for the information, the Program is applied
Unfortunately no NITs offer Geology course for B.Sc and M.Sc. but if you want to do B.Sc and M.Sc Dual degree course from NIT then you can do so only from three branches that are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and Computing.
