Yes. University of Calicut is offering b.sc ( geology ) in their campus. They are providing the education of 35 streams in bachelor of science course. B.sc in geology is a good course. The duration of the coirse is 3 years.

From this year onwards, it has been made compulsory to include mathematics in your best four subjects.
So one would be mathematics.
The other needs to be a language subject, either core or elective.
Other two could be any of them depending upon your choice and Marks scored

Yes there is a lot of scope in geology, you can go for a job in NTPC as a geologist there pay package is good with other facilities and the other sector is ONGC (oil national gas commission) also recruits geologist.
