The cut off depends on category as well. You should have mentioned your category. If you are General cateogry student then you need above 90%. If you are OBC cateogry student then you need 85-90%. If you are SC cateogry student then you need 83%.

Yeah, there's a high chance that you will get Bsc geology (hons) at ashutosh college, or at various colleges affiliated to calcutta university.

As the general trend of cut off is going around 60%–65%,with the student should have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics at +2 level.

There are so many colleges and universities available which offer this program so please be specific which one you are asking for.
