The M tech in environmental engineering at DTU in terms of placement and faculty is pretty good.

The overall placement scenario of DTU is quite brilliant. The highest package offered till date was 25LPA(which was offered in 2014). The average package offered is 7 LPA to 8 LPA. It looks as if, you might have just filled all the options on JoSAA as per your rank from the previous year analysis. 

Brother, you might not believe, but this is the worst mistake you have done. 

This is a golde rule you need to follow,  discover your branch interest, then fill the choices on JoSAA accordingly.

So, I would recommned you to refill the options, if the portal allows you.

If can't, still don't worry, it will get upgraded in the later rounds.

It all depends on your interest, if you feel that structural engineering is good for you and you interested in pursuing your Mtech with this branch then surely go for the IIT BHU, but if you like geotechnical engineering then stay in IIT Kharagpur. Because both the colleges are very good and the placements are also very good.
