If you are belong to open category then you have no chances for getting mechanical engineering in gcet but if you are from obc,sc,st category then you will get it.

You must have passed secondary education 12th from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in ph ysics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology . If you belong to SC/ST/OBC will have to secure minimum of 45% marks.

Yes, you can get Galgotias college of engineering and technology(GCET) with this rank. As the results are recently declared the cutoffs of the colleges are not yet decided, it will be decided till 25th of june 2018. By seeing the previous years cutoffs you can get GCET in 2nd counsilling.
