See as per the guidelines of UGC, a student can't do two full time courses simultaneously. Now as you are doing Mathematics and you wish to do GNM then you have to choose one. This is not only from the perspective of UGC guidelines, but its also a concern about your curriculum as well. It may occur that your Mathematics exam as well as your GNM subjects examination can occur at the same time. That way you have to choose one/ So if you are interested in GNM then go for it and if you really enthusiastic about Mathematics Hons. then go for it. I am assuming you are talking about pursuing B.sc Honours in Nursing. So, the answer is No. It is not compulsory for men to complete GNM before they start pursuing B.sc Honours degree in Nursing. You need to pass 12th boards in Science stream with at least 45% marks from a recognized institute to be eligible to apply to this course. Then you have to sit for various entrance exams required to get admission into different nursing colleges & after that, wait for the counselling process to get a seat in any of the college.

National-level ya fir State-wise entrance exams hota hai jisme qualify karna hota hai or counselling process k time jisko sabse achhi rank ayegi usko seats milne ke zyada chances hai. Har ek state ka alag alag entrance exam k dates hai wo aapko respective websites me jaake check karna hoga.

There are few colleges jahan pe direct admission bhi hoti hai or 12th k board exam k marks pe seats allot ki jati hai. Aise colleges k official website me jaake aap application form bhar sakte hai or uske baad aapko counselling process ka wait karna parega.
