Hello,

The NEET results were announced and the score card were provided in which there were information regarding candidate name, All India rank and All India category rank and score etc. And the seats are allotted on the basis of All India rank instead of category ranks.

So you must specify your All India rank for better prediction of suitable colleges. For college options at your score and rank you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool which provides you elaborate information regarding the suitable colleges:

I got 1945 sc rank . Filled 7 choices following surat, Allahabad, kurukshetra, jaipur, nagpur, goa, jalandhar NITs . In 1st mock I was given surat nit and in 2nd I was given Allahabad nit . is it okay to stick to these 7 choices or should I add more choices(chose these by pv.yr cutoff ranks)

Anurag Khanna 24th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See if you are satisfied with these choices then there is no need to change the choices and yes if you have branch preference over NITs then you can arrange the choices branch wise other-wise if you want to add some more institutions, you can add but the institutions that you have added are decent one and sufficient to get you into the good institutions.

If we go through previous year's data of seat allotment On the basis of data mentioned in the question by you, you can go for some good IIITs as well :-

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management Gwalior - Computer Science and Engineering (2191)

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad - Electronics and Communication Engineering (2786)

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above list is merely a prediction which has been made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of either JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2021 result :-

nit goa vs nit ap for better infrastructure and exposure

Ankita Singh 3rd Dec, 2021

Hello,

Hope you are doing good.

NIT GOA is an old institute and was established in 2010 with NIRF rank 85 whereas NIT Andhra Pradesh is a new institute established in 2015 which has not received any ranking yet. The facilities and infrastructure are better at NIT GOA in comparison to NIT Andhra Pradesh. The highest ctc for nit goa was 20 lakh in 2021 with the placement rate of more than 80% whereas the highest ctc for nit ap was 13 lakh.

So, in comparison to everything nit goa is much better than nit ap.

mha program in tiss vs mba in health care management course in goa institute of management which is better in terms of placements

Moumoyee Chakraborty 2nd Dec, 2021

Dear candidate, considering the comparison between two Institutes on overall basis Tata Institute Holds a prestigious position and so as Goa Institute of Management. However when it comes to the above-mentioned courses, in TISS student driven placements are conducted in Health Science Programmes. But after completion of MBA in Healthcare Management from Goa Institute of Management your career graph would be boosted, placement assistance will be provided by the college and they offer different internship which will improve your chances of selection later in that Institute. So overall it is a better choice,

Anurag Khanna 30th Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

So on such marks you have very low or almost no chances to get any of the government medical colleges under All India quota . But on such score you can go for some Deemed Institutions through AIQ counselling, so as per the previous years data you can go for following deemed institutions through AIQ counselling :-

MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai:- 380 marks

B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks

Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar:- 426 marks

SBKS Med. Inst. and Res. Centre, Sumandeep  Vadodara:- 446 marks

iiit jabalpur cse vs vjti it vs nit goa cse, which one would be a better option...

SRUTHI V 30th Nov, 2021

According to NIRF Rankings, Veeramata Jijabai Technological Institute stands first with the rank of 71, IIIT Jabalpur stands second with the rank of 80 and NIT Goa stands third with the rank of 188. Hence choosing VJTI is preferable as it stands first in rankings.

386 girl sc category neet 2021 chandigarh any chance to get gmch chandigarh?? for which college other than chandigarh should i apply ?? how to apply for colleges out of chd? thrugh all india counciling?? any other ways too?? goa? last year a person left so cutoff went low..expected cuttoff sc chd?

monstwerdash 26th Nov, 2021

Hello there , hope you are doing well .

See,as of now it's very difficult to predict the exact cut-offs as they keep changing every year depending on various factors like no. of students appeared, difficulty level of the question paper ,seat matrix and overall performance of the students . But we can have an idea of your probability of getting selected into your desired medical college based on previous year's cutoff scores and ranks through State quota .

The NEET 2020 closing AIR for GMCH, Chandigarh through All India Counselling was 16444 i.e. a score of around 610 .

The cutoff of the same college through  through State quota counselling for a female belonging to SC category was a score of 424 and a closing AIR of 158937. So, it seems it's not poy for you to get a seat in GMCH, Chandigarh.

As far as your second question is concerned, yes you need to participate in the All India Quota Counselling for getting admission into the colleges of other states and there are no other ways through which you can do the same .

This year too ,the cut-offs are expected to remain somewhat similar to last year's but a slight variation might be seen.

For further details on various colleges based on your NEET AIR and category, you can visit the link below:

should I chose manipal mechanical or bits goa chemical?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 25th Nov, 2021

See if you have no subject preferences, then I would recommend you to go for the BITS GOA Chemical Engineering. The chemical engineering course have a much better job scope compared to that of Mechanical Engineering. Also the BITS GOA have a better placement rates which can really give you a good scope to get employed. Now Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering both are core engineering fields but chemical engineering have a more job preference. If you know Mechanical engineering is one of the basic engineering sciences and there are a lot of applicability over the industries but still the mechanical engineering grads don't land good salary jobs. Also BITS GOA have a better infrastructure and faculties compared to that of MANIPAL. So factually, BITS GOA will be the most preferable choice for you.
