Goa Institute of Management, Goa
Hello student
The percentile required for GIM PGDM course admission cut off for the previous year 2019 is like CAT percentile-87 percentile
For XAT- 81percentile
For GMAT-600 score
For CMAT-97.87 percentile,is required for taking admission in Goa Institute of Management which is a top B school management College among top 25 B school in India.
Hope this helps.
Last year the last CAT percentile cutoff for getting a Call at Goa Institute of Management was 87 Percentile, with the XAT Cutoff at 81 Percentile. I believe with a 82.11 Percentile, having a strong academic record as well as a good work experience, you must keep you fingers crossed and hope for the best, as you may still have bleak chances in GIM Goa.

With this percentile, IIMs might be out of question. You might have to opt for other B-Schools. Before we give you the list of the Colleges that you can apply for, we shall give a brief of GIIM Goa and IMT Nagpur. GIM Goa has 4 programmes and each one has a different shortlisting criteria. You can check the complete process at: https://www.gim.ac.in/2019/how-to-apply.php#eligibility. But to give you a faint idea, for example, for PGDM HCM the process is as follows:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on over all profile.
There is no specific cut off
The main focus will be to admit students with profile mix
Every Candidate who is eligible and has applied for this programme and has been shortlisted will be interviewed. So you do have fair chances for a seat in GIM, Goa.
IMT Nagpur follows slightly a different process. Their weightage is as follows:
CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT percentile
35%
Academic score of Graduation
25%
Work experience
10%
Academic Diversity
Group Exercise & Personal Interview
20%
Total
100%
You need to have atleast 80 percentile and above to be shortlisted for IMT Nagpur. Those Candidates shortlisted based on their Test score will be also called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Based on the performance in these rounds and other factors included, the final merit list is prepared. You can check that at: https://www.imtnagpur.ac.in/admissions. Now you do have fair chances in both GIM Goa and IMT Nagpur based on your profile. Apart from these 2 colleges, your other chances might be in:
IIT Kharagpur
Great Lakes
UNIPUNE
Delhi School of Economics
Fore School of Management
Nirma University
Hi there,
I hope you are doing well. It is not possible to predict the level and intensity of the competition . Because many competition has been conducted that are also fiercely hit by discrepancy like CLAT but the competition didn't go down .
So , before results you can't expect that much percentile from such a low score.
Basically take into consideration the following things
So depending upon your academics your profile is great you will get the call !
Try to score high in because you have high chances of getting profile+score based call with high percentile.
Both SCMHRD and Goa Institute of Management are good and renowned institutes for management programs. However, if you are looking for MBA, then i'll like to tell you that GIM dosen't provide MBA but it provides PGDM course. So you should choose SCMHRD pune. SCMHRD Pune has an average placement of 15 lakhs and provides great exposure to its students. However, in terms of better ROI, I'll recommend you to go for GIM Goa.
