Both the CSE and IT are best departments. Both of them have equal priority while CSE is most preferred than IT. Anyways when you compare both of the colleges VNR VJIET has best NIRF ranking. NIRF ranking is given based on the no. Of students placed in the companies, faculty, Facilities, etc. The VNR VJIET is ranked at 109th by NIRF MHRD Government Of India. It is also accredited with NAAC A++ grade in terms of All aspect. So, I recommend you to take IT and VNR VJIET. The updated tution fee at VNR is 1,13,275/- per year. The hostel facility is provided to boys. The hostel fee is around 60,500/- per year. The placements are also excellent at VNR. The highest pay package is around 14 lakhs per annum. The average pay package is 3 lakhs per annum. Hello Siddharth, like every college, Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute also gives Summer vacation for almost 2 months. Not in every year, as in 1 or 2 year, they can give you time for the internship or they can offer you the training. Best of luck to you for the future.

Between GRIET and VASAVI i would suggest you VASAVI because the only minus point VASAVI has is that it doesnt provide hostel facility rest in all means it is far better than GRIET .

reasons are below :

GRIET

The infrastructure and facilitites are not upto the mark as they are charging fees 1 lacs Plus, so students expect better efforts from college authority.

The LIbrary is said to have tons of books but the have 200 copies of same book, which means they have no diversity in collection.

Vehicle parking is worst and one of the major problem. Because you have to land in open unorderly on a sandy land. The experience of students with guards was'nt good enough and the parking problem is also ignored by college authority.

Phones are'nt allowed inside the campus and CANTEEN facility is just acceptable but not good enough.

separate canteen for girls and boys.  If this college has this much narrow minded thinking than you can expect the culture and social life out there.

Well package is pretty good but the rule of this college is that if you are placed in one company then you cant apply for another companies placement drive.

VASAVI:

Placements : This is a place which is well-known for the most number of campus placements. There is almost 97% of placements for CSE candidates and other branches have a very similar strategy of campus placements in the range of 75% to 85%. However, the mechanical branch students have only 67% placements.

Infrastructure : The college infrastructure is very good and the college provides all facilities but it fails to provide hostel facility. Moreover, the college fails to provide a playground for students. I think this is the smallest college in Hyderabad's top colleges considering the college area. However, it provides good library facilities - the normal one and a digital library and it will be closed by 6:30 pm in the evening.

Faculty : The faculty here are very well-experienced and trained. The curriculum was designed very well for students in order to achieve a good score. The timetable was very strict for the first-year students. The college is very strict in academics and it is not very easy to bunk classes.

Other : The college provides transport facilities for students who are far away from college. The location of the college is ideal as it is on the outskirts of the city near Golconda. For the students who are very far away from college have an option of staying in hostels in Langerhouse, which is 4km from the college.

Hello aspirant!  Let me to inform you that according to the previous years cut off for gokaraju rangaraju institute of engineering technology you will not get the college with your open category rank. Your rank is quite high for the gokaraju rangaraju college. Even if you use the ews certificate you have very bleak chances to get the college.

Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad is a better option.

About 80% of the CSE students who passed are eligible for placements. The highest package offered is 25 Lacs per year, and the least is 6 Lacs per year. They are trained well before attending the interview process. College even provide lots of internships like IEEE, etc.

The facilities are awesome. The college maintains healthy and hygienic food. The campus Wi-Fi ranges 2.5Ghz speed. You'll have no infrastructure and facilities issues. They have a wide range of games and sports.

All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The student-faculty ratio is 20:1. The students are taken through the EAMCET and JEE main examinations.

The college has technical and non-technical events. Different workshops are conducted.

This college is a better option than SNIST - Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Ghatkesar, Hyderabad.

Looking at previous year closing rank, so the closing rank was 51230 for mechanical engineer. So you will surely get CSE with this rank. Try till 2nd or 3rd councelling.
