km category stands for kashmir -migrant category. yes some colleges have this reservation for master of technology admission. however every year seat matrix changes and so it changes on category also. you need to check the official notificaton of the colleges before applying.

The answer to your question is YES. It  is the undergraduate degree that establishes whether you can pursue medicine practice in INDIA or not.  Make sure that you have completedUG degree in a college recognised by MCI.

PG degree is not a basic degree but a specialist qualification.
