The candidates with backlogs (failed subjects) in any of the subjects in their qualifying examination will have to upload a copy of any of the mark sheet of the final year issued from the institute where he/she was studying. You can check the further information with the given below link.

The validity of the GATE score card is 3 years, not withstanding whether you appear in the exam again within that period. If you qualify again, you can have two GATE score cards to choose from - most likely you would choose the best of the two!
