Hello,

To study in most govt. engineering colleges, you need to pass the engineering entrance exam which requires good knowledge of mathematics at 10+2 std. If you can clear the exam then you are eligible for admission.

Again, you need to study Mathematics even if you opt for Biotechnology in

Please specify your branch by which you complete your b.tech.
Based on data, you seems you are not qualified in GATE.
If you are qualified then you can take admission on the basis of marks in any private college.

As far as I know and according to previous year notifications, there is no age limit in qualifying criteria of gate. So you can surely appear in gate 2019 whatever be your age.

Hello krishnajith,

Yes, you can appear in gate if you are appearing. If you have passed b.tech then you have to clear your b.tech otherwise there is no benefit of GATE. you can't join for M.Tech or PSUs.

If you are not clear backlogs then why you focus on GATE.

This is individual decision of specific PSU whether they want to hire candidates solely on the basis of GATE score or conduct additional tests. There are some PSUs that use GATE  scores only to screen candidates and then conduct GDs and PI to pick the best candidate. There

GATE is an entrance exam only for the post graduation course.

You have to first get a B. tech degree in order to apply for GATE.
