There are very less chances to get admission in NITs with this score. But you can try for any state good college with this score if you dont want to waste this year.

Yes, you can go for it there will be no issue but one more option you can consider and that is go for a job along with that keep preparing for Gate 2018. Because as per my view doing M.Tech twice wont be that good.
But still choice is yours

I would suggest you two options either try to get good Govt state college or get a job along with that keep preparing for Gate 2018.
