@Srimathi: Mentioning branch would have been a bit easier for me to guide you. There are scores of people who have started their preparation 3 months before the exam and still come out with flying colours. So, it's definitely possible to crack GATE in 5

@Srimathi: This is the approx rank range for different companies. Here is the range of rank upto which you will have a 90% chance to be selected/recruited in a certain PSU - 1. IOCL and BARC - upto 100 rank 2. GAIL - 50 rank 3. ONGC - 75 rank
