Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
hi,
see cutoff score in each of the streams is different and thats why the cutoff scores of colleges in various streams also differ category to category. the cutoff score for general is always high compare to reserve category.
hope you may understand.
see cutoff scores changes year to year and it depends on various factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, your stream and category. psus cutoff also depends on number of vacancy. so I would suggest you to apply for all of the vacancies which ever come, and you have decent chances for mtech in iit guwahati, ism dhanbad, iit patna and nits.
you may use careers360 college predictor tool to know about your predictable colleges,

see cutoff scores changes yea to year and it depends on some factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level your stream and category, etc. now at this score you have decent chances for nit bhopal, nit durgapur, nit sikkim, nit silchar, vit vellore, jadavpur university etc.
see at this score you have no chances for iits and have less chances in top ranked nits since the number of candidates is large compare to seat intake, this goes ever for your category, now you have decent chances in north east nits like nit sikkim, nit silchar, nit meghalaya, also you may apply for bits, jadavpur university, vit vellore, sastra university etc.
see once the score is declared there will be no change in marks and score which has allotted, you may know that gate score is valid for three years, you may apply for mtech admission or psu vacancy by gate score which ever needed. so from future point of view gate score card is necessary to keep. you may use careers360 college predictor tool to know about your predictable colleges if you are interested for mtech,

Once you filled in an application form and the correction window has been closed, you cannot make any changes to the Category or any details. You need to appear for Counselling with the same details that you filled in the application form. No changes or requests to make changes will be entertained. So you will have to appear for Counselling only through General Category and not OBC Category.
