Hello aspirant, congratulations on performing well in GATE 2019 Examination. Based on your performance, it might get difficult for you to take admission in IIT Roorkee as the closing rank for 2018 was 430. However, you can try for ither IITs as well.

There is a scope to get goverment jobs. you can pursue higher studies after Graduation using Gate Score. PSU's like NLC,NTPC,GAIL. if you score high in gate exam they don't take any screeing exam and they directly call you for interview.

Even IITs,NITs consider gate score for higher

After completing b.tech in electronics and computer science engineering you can expect jobs which deal with microprocessors and chips. Electronic jobs are on the rise and such an education would be applicable in various (almost all) domains of robotics and automation. You can also study further in the mechatronics field.

Eligibility Criteria for CEG in postgraduate is:

1. Valid GATE score

2. must have valid TANCET score.

qualifying score i.e. valiid score in GATE 2019

for general is 39.6

for obc - 35.6

for sc/st/pwd - 26.4
