NIT Warangal has taken up a programme in Materials and System Engineering Design in collaboration with Nonferrous Materials Technology Development Centre (NFTDC).  For  placements perspective it’s waste, only few people will absorbed in NFTDC after 1 year internship. You can apply to state universities but chances are very low .Its better to prepare again for GATE so that you can score much more and get good colleges like IITs/NITs/IIITs /GFTIs.

Even if you do mtech from private colleges/other random college you will get no scope further.
