It will be started from April. However, state universities will conduct seperate councelling sessions from march to june. This will be done through gate 2019. Eligibilty crieteria has to be strictly followed. For state university institution seperate forms have to be filled by the candidates.

Hi Zahid, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like number of seats available number of test takers difficulty level of exams etc. This score going with previous cutoffs can give way to some colleges like if you are general category student,

No it will not affect, the minimum eligibiity criteria is 65 % in B. Tech/ B. E aggregated over all semester. GATE score is used for shortlisting the candidate. The final selection is based on interview. So dont worry about arrear, that wount matter much.
