The placements in the college are very good. Every year, the college achieves 100% placement record. Many prominent companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Bosch, Accenture and Texas Instruments visit the college to conduct placements and recruit more than ten students. The highest salary package offered was 39 LPA.

The college is 75 years old. There are separate buildings for each department. There is a fully functional three-storey building for the library. The entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. The campus is spread over 100 acres.

The faculty members of the college are highly qualified. Most of them have completed postgraduation and doctorates from IITs.

Hello candidate. Vivekanand college is better for CSE. Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is a branch of Engineering which deals with programming and is completely software side. The college has good infrastructure and facilities. The college provides peaceful and pleasant environment to study. The faculty here are well experienced. Better go with Vivekanand college for bright future.

Hostel facilities and mess food is not upto the mark . It is good but not upto that quality that it can provide the students.so I can rate 6 out of 10 to the hostel facilities and mess food . Now the mess is run by the students so the quality is improved lil bit.And the hostel lodging facility is available on first come first basis because the seats are limited as well.

last year closing rank for gec gandhinagar in computer science is 2154. and information technology has 2428. this is general category. however you have chances in electronics and instrumentation engineering in gec gandhinagar. which is also a demanding stream now.

Yes you have good chances of procuring a seat GEC K if any subsequent rounds of counselling takes place. Basically the next rounds will depend on number of vacant seats left after 3rd round reporting. Depending on that, further seat allotment will be commenced. You can keep yourself updated by visiting the counselling website on daily basis for the same.
