Seshadri Rao Gudlavalleru Engineering College, Gudlavalleru
Hi Pepe,
Both colleges are good for pursuing Engineering.
But, both are entirely different in some aspects.
TKM offers better faculties and placements whereas GEC provides better ambience and college life because TKM's campus is confined to a definite place, so there is not much exposure and college life is minimum.
If PLACEMENT is your Top Priority, then go for TKM otherwise, you can choose GEC.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
Hello there. Sometimes it might be the case that all the seats get filled in first round, but what happens is that students seek for better spots and left the seat at later stage which create vacancies which are being filled in later round. So it can't be said exactly when the seats will be completely filled.

Dear student, GEC Barton Hill is a better option for EC branch in Btech. It has better placement opportunities and has good amenities and facilities for the students. Not just this, the academic life and college life here is great. The college authorities and professores are very helpful. The crowd here is good and comes from all across India making it a diversified college. You must prefer this over RIT Kottayam.
Hello Pepe !
RIT, Kottyam is a good engineering college in Kerala.
As per the student reviews, placement opportunities are mostly available for computer science and electronics.
Hostel facilities are limited. There are many PGs and hostels nearby.
Faculty is supportive.
Many sports activities, cultural fests and events also happen.
Government engineering college (GEC), Barton hill is also one of the top ranked colleges in Kerala.
As per the student reviews, it has good placement opportunities available.
There is no hostel for boys. Students need to stay in private hostels. There are 2 hostels for girls.
Faculty is highly qualified and supportive.
There are many extracurricular activities also happening in the college. Many college fests and events also happen.
All the best !
Dear student, the size of the campus does not matter completely while considering the enjoyment of college life. The quality of friends you have mostly decide whether you enjoy your college life or not. If the campus is small you can hang out with friends out of the campus and roam in the streets of the locality.
Dear Bhagya
If you are looking for admission in B.tech between RVR and JC College and Gudlavalleru Engineering college, I would like to tell you that there is not much difference in both of them. But if you have to choose I would go for RVR and JC College as the placement at this Institute is better that Gudlavalleru College and in the end that's what matter right. Otherwise both of them have good facilities, and teaching aids. I hope it helped.
Yes you can get seat
The cutoffs may vary year wise
But you have hope
Don't worry about it
Government engineering College Bilaspur is a top college
https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/cg-pet-cutoff/amp
Based on previous year statistics it ended at 3000 for St category civil
Hello Tarun, you have adecent rank in chpet but ungfortunately you did not have that much good marks in 12th. And as per the eligibility criteria you need have a minimum 45% percentage in 12th to apply for the government college. SO my suggestion to you is that start looking for good private college instead of wasting on it.
