There is nothing known as a 'free seat' given by any university. You have to appear for the exam and secure a good rank in order to secure a seat in any college or university. Kindly let us know in case you have any relevant doubts.
You can get admission in DAIICT either through JEE Mains or ACPC merit list.
For ACPC merit list 60% is considered from boards and 40% from GUJCET. So if you have good percentage in boards, then you can give it a try. Good luck!
