10+2 (or equivalent) examination should have been completed by the candidates from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/ CBSE, Delhi/ CISCE, New Delhi/ NIOS/ International School Board.

Admission committee will prepare two merit lists for Gujarat Engineering Admission 2016-
For the candidates who have passed Qualifying Examination from Boards for which percentile marks are available: The merit list is prepared with sixty (60) percentage weightage to percentile marks obtained in theory subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)

The candidates should be bonafide residents of Gujarat.
If the candidates are living in some other state but are bonafide residents of Gujarat, then he/she will be eligible for admission.
