Which GOVT. / Semi Govt. medical collage in Gujarat location for Mark 456 out of 720 ?

pdwords Student Expert 12th Jan, 2022

Hello,

You haven't mentioned your category, hence I'm assuming it to be general,

going by last year cut-offs for UR, with 456 marks you may have chances for management quota in the following medical colleges-

  • Pramukhswami Medical College, Karamsad
  • Shantabaa Medical College and General Hospital, Amreli
  • Parul Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Vadodara
  • Nootan Medical College and Research Centre, Visnagar
  • Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhuj
  • CU Shah Medical College and Hospital, Surendranagar
  • Dr. Kiran C Patel Medical College and Research Institute, Vadodara
  • AMC MET Medical College, Ahmedabad
  • Banas Medical College and Research Institute, Palanpur
  • Smt NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad
  • Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research, Surat
  • Zydus Medical College and Hospital, Dahod

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

total number of candidates appearing for the exam

difficulty level of the paper

top NEET scores

reservation

seat matrix, etc..

I got 380 mark ans EWS category can I Seat in BAMS gov. College in gujarat

Piyush 2nd Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your state and Domicile , its difficult to predict precisely which govt. colleges you can get for BAMS for neet exam. However, with the above scored rank , the chances for getting any govt colleges is low as your rank is likely to be less since the cutoff varies every year and it depends on several factors like category and number of seats and difficulty level of the paper.

However,  you can check the cutoff article for neet 2021 for more details :

Also , you can check the college predictor tool to get more info about your admission probability in other colleges :

I hope that this will help.

which is better place to study Gujarat or Maharashtra? give some best college in Gujarat and Maharashtra (pune)

Priyanka Singh 1st Dec, 2021

Hi,

I ope you are doing well.

For IT engineering, automobile, mechanical & civil engineering, Maharashtra is better to choose for huge opportunities after completion of BE/BTech than Gujarat. While Chemical/Chemistry engineering has bigger opportunities in Gujarat than Maharashtra due to strong petrochemical industry. Other engineering branches have equal opportunity in both states.

Got 559 marks in NEET 2021. I am from open category. Can I get admission in Govt/GMERS college in Gujarat (State Quota)

Sumona Maiti 30th Nov, 2021

Hello,

Firstly, Very congratulations for securing such good marks. Secondly,   let me tell you that each and every year the cut - off get changes depending upon many factors. This year lots of candidate had appeared for the NEET examination making the competition a bit more harder. Thirdly,  for getting seat in any of the Govt.  Medical College  you must score at least 50 percentile (720 -136) for open category and 40 percentile ( 137 - 108 ) for OBC/SC/ST category.

Seems, you will get the chance.

Do we have to score 50 marks individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology to be eligible in Neet or total score 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I am from Gujarat State Education Board. I have scored 72 in Biology, 50 in Physics, and 35 in Chemistry Do am I eligible for Neet.

Debanjali Goswami 30th Nov, 2021

hey there,

hope you are doing well. so heres the main answer to your query:

The minimum neet eligibility criteria according to official websites updates states:

The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. For students belonging to SC/ST or OBC category, a minimum of 40% marks must be obtained to be eligible for the NEET examination.  For students with loco motor disability of Lower Limbs, minimum marks of 45% are required for General-PH. For SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH, a minimum of 40% marks are required.

Category Minimum Marks
General 50%
SC/ST/OBC 40%
PH/PWD 45% (depends on the category to which the candidate belongs)

So I guess now its crystal clear that your marks do meet the above criteria and hence you eligible to apply for Neet exam.

all the best dude!!!...

Which degree can we do after completing Diploma in IT ...and also suggest colleges for degree options in Gujarat

pri111nah 29th Nov, 2021

Hi,

Yes, you can surely do a degree after diploma. There are many private colleges and universities who offers degree courses after diploma. Yes, you can but it depends upon which degree are you having in mind. For example, after doing engineering diploma, you can get into degree course into second year directly. But in an entrance based degree course having a diploma may be considered minimum eligibility and you have go through due process for the degree admission, like in case of management or architecture.

So basically, you will have to find the eligibility criteria for degree course to know if a diploma is of added benefit or it may help you get admission in degree course.

Various college offers a number of Lateral Entry programmes in which a student can take admission after diploma.

Below is the list of programmes for which colleges provide for Lateral entries-

  • Engineering
  • Management
  • Design
  • Computer Applications and IT
  • Commerce
  • Interior and Furniture Design
  • Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Hotel Management and Tourism
  • Product and Industrial Design
  • Ayurveda Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Architecture
  • Fashion Design
  • Physiotherapy
  • Medical Laboratory Sciences
  • Physical Education

Hope this information will be helpful.

Good Luck.

I scored 420 in the NEET 2021 and I belong to the OBC category and my AIR is 167412. Will I get an MBBS seat under the government quota or local quota in Gujarat?

vermajismya 29th Nov, 2021

Every year cutoff varies so we can't predict exact data but in my opinion if you are under the 15000 rank then you can get government college through aiq and with state quota under 50000 rank you should have !!
As you are scoring this marks then it seems moderate for you to get admission in government college so if you want only mbbs college and not getting rank under 50000 through state quota  then start preparing again don't waste your time and if you want admission in medical colleges you can try for ayush courses with this marks you will get government colleges!!!
Visit the ayush website and register yourself if you are interested !!
