At GNLU, Gandhinagar, what is total annual intake and total students now? How are hostel facilities? are there enough number of beds in the Hostel or a few students have to arrange for themselves? Also, do students opt out of hostel for other PG or rent facilities?

Sweta Suman Student Expert 10th Oct, 2019

Hello,

At present, GNLU does not have a very impressive campus and the hostel and college are situated at a distance from each other, students having to travel to and fro by the college bus or by autorikshaws. However, the hostel accommodation is not bad and GNLU is one of the few National Law Universities to give its students an attached toilet and bathroom. Warm water is provided in buckets to each of the rooms in the winters. Newspapers are also provided in the rooms, if you subscribe for them

And also what is the minimum possible rank for a student of sc category to get a medical college?

Dr.Debtanu Banerjee 22nd Feb, 2019
see it is very difficult to tell you what will be the minimum rank for SC category in NEET UG examination and although practically saying a nice for an excess of 480 is enough for the 85% state quota seat and any school in excess of 520 TO 530 WILL get your decent enough all India quota seats of 508 to definitely get one of the best premier all India 15% quota seats in any college across India with an SC quota reservation, yet I would also like to mention that these cutoff saheli unpredictable and depend on the quality of the question paper and also the relative performance of the different candidates appearing for the examination
Hope I could give you a fair enough idea about how things work and if people say that the SC cutoff was 96 out of 720 as we make it clear that you are going to get no proper college or at least a government medical college with such a rank it just makes you eligible for counseling and you can get admitted to private medical corps dental colleges and seats worth crores wire management quota with a score of 96 which they call the cutoff as per the last year
Thanks
