Yes, the hall ticket must be duly signed by the principal of the institute and get it stamped. Usually before issuing hall ticket the institute management get it signed by the principal and stamped and issue it  to the students. If it is not done by the institute then you have to collect your hall ticket and get it stamped and signed by the principal. This should be done well in advance before intermediate exam commences.

So with regard to your query, No there is no need to get the signature from your Principal for the purpose of board exams of intermediate. However, for the purpose of EAMCET exams you must get the signature at any cost. For board exams it is not necessary.

All the exams your daughter has faced in in all these documents your name has been corrected but in KCET exam your name is wrongly placed. So you have to correct your name  whenever the KCET correction window will you paint for a time s.days. if you do this properly then there will be no problem in future if you daughter successfully qualify in KCET exam. Invalid hall ticket number means that the number is wrong or the number you entered may be wrong or having some errors . Try to re type the number also check for space (typed by mistake). If the problem still continues contact the officials they can solve the issue.
