The food technology is a good branch if you are interested in it. The faculty here in food technology are very good. If you have a interest in food related chemistry then this branch is definitely for you. Most of the students in food technology get placed, although, the highest package is around 6 lpa. With this rank if you are from general or OBC category then it will be difficult for you to get a seat in HBTU. Although if you are from SC or ST category then you can have a very good chance of getting CS at HBTU. 9,35,741 * 0.14 = 1,31,003 (Approximately)

I am sorry to tell you but there are NO CHANCES for you to get any seat in HBTU, Kanpur.

I am also assuming you belong to the General Category.

In 2018, the cutoff rank for the General category was 44,703 after the last round.

CSE department is good in the college.The college has good infrastructure and facilities.The college provides peaceful and pleasant environment to study. Good place for academics.
