Pavitra Mahesh 12th Nov, 2021

Hello,

Every private college in all the states except for Jammu and kashmir have a 15 quota reserved for students from other state if you meet all the eligibility criterion of the particular medical college. If you have domicile of Punjab , you are eligible for 85 reservation under home state quota or else you can apply under the 15 quota.

I hope this helps.

I am from Haryana. Can I apply for admission in Dayanand medical College, Ludhiana, Punjab?

Atul Singh 12th Nov, 2021

Dear Student,

To get admission in Dayanand college you need to give the entrance exam of NEET for courses like MBBS, MD, MS, then you will be eligible to take admission in this college. This college provides both the UG and PG courses and you need the NEET scorecard for both the course.

Total seat in MBBS course in 100 and Candidate must have 10+2 with subjects of Chemistry, Physics, English and Biology individually in the 12th + 50% marks in PCB/Biotech combined to get admission in there.

You can take direct admission in Bsc nursing like courses.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 2nd Oct, 2021

Hello,

Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in Government Medical College in Haryana in MBBS with such score. In 2020 the cut off for admission to MBBS in Government colleges is as follows for BC category

  • BPS Government Medical College for Women, Sonepat: 570
  • Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal: 582
  • Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Government Medical College, Nalhar: 572

This year the cut off for Government Medical Colleges is expected to be in between 570-590 marks. Considering your score you have chances of getting seat in BDS in Government Dental College, Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak. The cut off was 537.

Cut off changes every year depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
