With General rank, its not possible as the cutoff for General category for CSE ends somewhere 3.7K. and as far as in your category, you are at the bridge! you might get and you might not.

To be precise the cutoff for SC goes somewhat around

- Heritage institute of technology, Kolkata is just okay in terms of placements. But placements for core branches like CSE , IT and ECE. Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM , cognizant etc visit for placements. Placements are improving with time but still off campus placements are much better
