Hello Shruti,
In Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Karnataka in the course of architecture, there are no placements as such. In the fifth year of your academics, you go for an internship (which is for the entire year). The college has tie ups with more than 200 firms and you apply to the ones of your choice and continue your 1 year internship with them thereafter. After getting your degree, you have to apply for jobs in different firms or start as an entrepreneur if you want your own firm right away. Architecture firms don't come to a college to hire employees. It does't work like the engineering courses.
