As you will be knowing that the counselling of HPCET will be conducted in offline mode by the authorities. Candidates will have to be physically present for the counselling process. During the counselling process, the candidates will be called in and allotted according to their rank.
*Separate merit list will be prepared for JEE Main and HPCET qualified candidates and similarly the counselling will also be conducted separately (Round 1 for JEE Main and Round 2 for HPCET). 50% of the total seats will be filled by JEE Main candidates and the rest 50% by HPCET candidates.

*A non-refundable fee of Rs. 3000 has to be paid by the allotted candidates. The payment can be done using credit or debit card through Point of Sales (POS) Machine. A demand draft (DD) can also be drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, H.P. Technical University, payable at Hamirpur.

Himachal Pradesh Technical University will be conducting the offline counselling of HPCET 2019 tentatively in the first week of June. However, registrations for HPCET 2019 counselling will commence tentatively in the first week of June. HPCET and JEE Main qualified candidates will have to register to participate in the counselling procedure. Since HPCET Counselling 2019 will be conducted in offline mode, the candidates will have to be present physically at the venue.
Firstly, the candidates will have to register for HPCET counselling 2019 by submitting their valid user ID, password and form number. Selection of preferred course and generated of password has to be done by the candidates. After successful registration, the candidates will be able to check their registration number.After the payment is done, the candidates will have to take a print out of the filled application form and send it to the below-given address.

Hi Rashmi,You are indeed eligible for admission in B.tech courses in govt. courses in Himachal Pradesh. 15% of seats are reserved for students from the BPL category. Your marks are enough to qualify for the counseling, hence I would suggest you sign up for the counseling following which you will be able to see which colleges are available to you for B.tech courses.

It is difficult to get admission through General Category in NIT/IIIT's as it requires 75 % in class 12. But for other category 65 % is mandatory to get admission in B.TECH Course .
