I got 87 % in 12 boards 2020 and 91 in physics 94 in chemistry 73 in maths 88 in English and 90 in hindi I want to do chemistry hons in DU but in the application form I filled for btech course can I change my course at the time of counselling ???

The jee main exam is prodominantly printed in two languages i.e. both in English language and Hindi language, the students those opt for Hindi language gets the paper in both Hindi language and English language, but students those opt for English language mode, only get paper in English language.

i had 6 subjects in 12th , they are English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Hindi, Statistics so i passed class 12th with 2nd division but i failed in Chemistry theory by 2 marks , i have to do engineering what should i do now ?

I would suggest you to reappear in chemistry exam. It is mandatory to acquire an aggregate of 50 per cent of marks in 10+2 in physics, chemistry and math to get qualified for enrolling in a Bachelor of Technology programme.

Your academics are quite descent as you have score 88% and 83% in 10th and 12th respectively.
You should not go for private colleges right now as the admissions for mostly every private college will close only after JEE Main.
And also government colleges are always a better

According to DU admission criteria the eligibility to apply for B.Vocational in software development course is -

" An aggregate of 40% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.

The Merit will be calculated based on the following -

  • One language (English or Hindi) (Core/ Elective/ Functional);
