Yes, you can do Masters in Sociology from any Indian University after having completed your Bachelor's in BA Prog (History and Political Science).

Take a look at the general eligibility criteria for MA Sociology -

- You must have graduated from an accredited institution or university to be eligible for an MA Sociology course. To be qualified for this course, applicants must receive a minimum of 50%.


Here is the eligibility criteria for MA Sociology at University of Delhi (Merit and Entrance based) -

Course requirements

Marks requirements

Masters in Sociology (entrance)

Any Graduate / Postgraduate in any subject from Delhi University or any recognized Indian University by DU

50% marks or above in aggregate or equivalent grade.

Masters in Sociology (merit)

B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology examination of the DU.

55% marks or above in aggregate or equivalent grade.
