Dear Ryan,
when I am preparing for my JEE MAINS, I practiced most of the previous papers. I found 2018 JEE paper(online mode) was the easiest one. Not only in chemistry, you can score more marks in that paper.
Here, I am providing the link of chemistry paper 2018 : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-question-papers
Hey
Since, in the first year you had history as your general elective subject, therefore this year as well means in the second year as well your general elective subject will be the same and you do not need to reselect it again .
However if you wish to change your general elective subject then you may do it by contacting your college authority or mailing them, mostly all colleges allow to change the general elective subject in second year but not in the third year.
so you can contact the concerned authorities or respective teacher and ask them to change it, they will guide you .
Good luck
There is sectional cut off for National Defence Academy (NDA) Entrance examination. You need to score minimum 25% of the maximum score in each section. You need to clear the sectional cut off as well as overall cut off in order to qualify in NDA Entrance Examination. So if you do not attempt History, Geography and Polity chances are that you might not qualify in NDA if you score less than 25% of total score in General Ability Test if you are not through in Subjects like Chemistry, English, General Science and current events. The total marks for GAT is 900 and for Mathematics it is 300 marks. You need to score minimum 225 marks out of 900 marks to qualify in GAT and minimum 75 marks out of 300 marks to qualify in Mathematics.

Since these are more literature oriented subjects so the best job to flourish your career more in future, lies with academic jobs like being a teacher or a professor. With History you can study Archeological Subjects, with sanskrit and Hindi you can do language courses to be a language expert. So there are definitely good career opportunities with these subjects too.
Hope it helps!!
Good luck!!
