I assume you have cleared the ugc net exam from History department. see this score has done extra credit for your resume. however you must check the recruitment notifications , college vacancy in official website of colleges of both private and government, public service commission as per state wise

JNU is an excellent college in terms of educational facilities, faculties and peer groups. If the subjects mentioned i.e. political science, history, sociology etc. excites you, do go for it. However, do not choose a college just because of its name, consider the subjects you're getting with more
