Hi Student ,
No, it is no compulsory to have a BA degree to pursue a masters . In most of the institutes the eligibility criteria for a masters in is around 45-50% marks in your undergraduate degree in any field. But in a few reputed institutes UG is compulsory.
10+2+3 means class X, class XII and 3 years of graduation .And 50% aggregate means 50% average of your first year, second year and third year of 3 year bachelor degree course. A few colleges ask for 60% consistent score in all the three levels as minimum eligibility criteria for post graduate courses.
Thank you

BA hons programs deals with the detailed study of the subject. For a candidate to pursue hons in any subject needs thorough knowledge of the subject. Also the subject should be of candidate' s interest.
While BA program involve study of different subjects in first and second year and specialization in one subject.
So accordingly you can choose the stream.
Hey,
It all depend on your interest which subject you really like the most.
Usually, SSC asks 5-6 questions from this section amounting to 10-12 marks.
BA history (hons) involves the study of subjects such as History of India, Social Formations and Cultural Patterns of the Ancient World, Medieval World, History of Modern West, and the History of Modern Europe.
It will help to cover the required topics thoroughly.
But it is not necessary to opt for any specific degree as the exam include the general things about the subjects coming under the exam syllabus. So prepare accordingly.
