Hi. Im confused between DIHM(Lajpat Nagar) and Ashok Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management(Chanakya Puri) for BSc HHA. Can you guide?

Sourav Sarkar 30th Nov, 2021

DIHM (Lajpat Nagar) is way better than Ashok Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management(Chanakya Puri) for BSc in HHA. DIHM is part of NCHMT and has better faculty and management. Also there are future plans to convert it into university. Placement in DIHM is quite good with Oberoi, Taj, Hilton , Radisson who came previously to recruit. Hope this helps.

Difference between hospitality management and hospitality administration ;-

Hospitality management is a broader term that deals with people management in sectors, such as nightclubs, casinos, restaurants, transportation, and even hotels.

A program that prepares individuals to serve as general managers and directors of hospitality operations on a system-wide basis, including both travel arrangements and promotion and the provision of traveler facilities.

i have done my mba in Hospitality and Tourism, can i do my phd in HRM and can i do my net in the same as i have mba in common. ?

sneha solanki 14th Sep, 2021

First of all, as far in my knowledge, you cannot do PhD in Commerce at all. You can do PhD only in the subject you have specialization or you have awarded Post Graduate degree by any UGC listed AICTE approved University/College in India.

If you have qualified NET in HRM, do apply for PhD in HRM (where there is HRM department) or do PhD in Business Administration selecting any topic of your interest (if you want it to be a HR topic, you may do the same).

How many marks should I get to get a seat in amritha coimbatore CSE BRANCH out of 180

Aditya 19th Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant,

It is very difficult to predict the marks required for getting CSE at Coimbatore campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham as the institution does not releases cutoff scores adding it depends upon number of candidates and toughness level of questions. But by looking at cutoff ranks that is close to 1500 for CSE and analysis of past trends, your score must lie over 120. If you are eligible for state quota then a score of 100+ should be sufficient to avail you the desired seat.

Hope it helps!!
