What you heard about hostel facilities is kinda correct . I'm saying this because not all colleges provide hostel facilities to their students from the very first year, although many colleges provide hostel from the 1st year of your course.

But , some colleges for example Aliah University of kolkata, doesn't provide you hostel facilities from the first year. You have to secure atleast 8.5+ sgpa in the first semester/year to secure a hostel room provided that you live at a long distance.

Average girls hostel fees will be in the range of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 85,000 depending upon the facilities and room sharing.

Hope you are doing all good. Sree Vidhyanikethan  Engineering College [SVEC], Tirupati has good hostel facilities. They have basically 3 types of rooms in the hostel:

• 4 sharing rooms with attached bathrooms (INR: 0.87 lakhs approx)
• 4 sharing rooms with attached bathrooms and A/c  (INR: 1.25 lakhs approx)
• 8 sharing rooms with common bathrooms (INR: 0.77 lakhs approx)

They also have special wing for RDT Students. You can register for hotels when you take admission in college. There are many PG hostels and rooms in front of the college as well where you might register if you do not wish to join in the main hostel.

Coming to your next question, the hostel is WIFI enabled and quality of food is decent.

Government Medical College and Hospital Nagpur  is spread over an area of 196 acres. All the departments started operating within a few days. In the beginning, the college was started in the Engineering School campus, Sadar, Nagpur. The college initially started functioning with only undergraduate programmes, but now offers admission to postgraduate programmes in various disciplines. All the courses are approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Government Medical College, Nagpur is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik.
