Himachal Pradesh Technical University, simply called HIMTU or HPTU, is a state university located in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India and established in 2011. It is a state university, the fees for BCA will be around 4-5 lakhs for 3 years( which is divided into 6 semesters of 6 months each)  excluding the hostel fees which will be around 1.5 lakhs to 2 lakhs.

Honestly it's a bit difficult to predict in the state counselling on the basis of percentile because there are some conditions which determines the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper .

But if you want to go for low cut off college then i would suggest you to go for low cut off colleges if you want to take up non core branches .

According to the admission criteria of respective college the admission to the first 50% of the seats sha ll be made on the basis of merit/rank/score obtained in JEE (Main). The remaining 50% seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of the qualifying e xaminations. i.e 10+2. The minimum required percentage in 10+2  is 45 for general category and 40 for reserved category . Also the candidate have to score at least 15 marks in JEE main (10 for reserved category.)
