As long as you satisfy the below points, you're absolutely eligible for any government engineering colleges :-
B.Tech aspirants of West Bengal must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as the mandatory subjects along with Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry.
The B.Tech applicants of West Bengal should have 45% of marks in Class 12 to be considered for the B.Tech admission process in West Bengal.
For reserved categories, the minimum marks required in Class 12 are 40%.
Apart from these, it doesn't matter if you are a repeater of Class 12 as long as you have the above mentioned points cleared out.

FOR ADMISSION IN VJTI YOU HAVE TO SCORE 5O% AGGREGATE IN HSC BOARD.
AND IN MHCET YOU HAVE TO SCORE 150-160 MARKS. FOR GETTING ADMISSION TOP COLLEGES YOU HAVE TO SCORE HIGH MARKS AND TOP RANKS IN THE ENTRANCE EXAM.
I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
Hello Khushi,
The cut off for to get admission at Fergusson college is quite high. The cut off are usually 85%. If you are from ICSE CBSE or from any other non state board institute then it goes 90% or above and reservations are available here too.
The admisssion takes place on a merit based sleection process so you can try and hope you get the admission but the chances are less. all the very best!
Thnak You!
See admission to NITs/IIITs is conducted only on the basis of JEE-Main score for engineering courses and in IITs only JEE-Advance score is considered so your class 12th marks has no role in the seat allotment process but while verifying your eligibility for admission class 12th marks are considered and for this year you must have passed class 12th only to be eligible, so you are eligible for admission since the 75% criteria has been waived off for this year.
But if you are asking for next year then it is quite difficult to say anything about next year but your class 12th score is only considered to determine your eligibility for admission.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hello Applicant
In recent times when you go through the HSC marks criteria of any national level entrance exam, you would discover that for general category candidates the minimum marks required in HSc is 50% but for reserved categories like OBC you need 40% marks in aggregate in your 10+2. Now when you have the Maharashtra Domicile certificate then you would not face any issues later.
Hope it helps!!!!
