can i get admission in gmc nagpur for BPT course as i have secured 67% in hsc boards and 153 in neet ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 23rd Oct, 2020

You haven't mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, in 2019, under State Quota, 160 marks secured a seat in GMC, Nagpur under NT3 Category. But if you have 67% in your HSC Boards, with a score of 153, your chances for a seat in GMC, Nagpur for BPT are borderline. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Hii I am PCB student I got 65% in HSC and gave neet 2020 but I am not qualified in neet. If I got admission Bsc nursing course in mumbai government college?

Karam Vir 25th Nov, 2020

Hi,

NEET marks are not required to get into B.sc Nursing course. For  getting admission into B.sc Nursing course, you need to follow the admission procedure of that particular institute for nursing admission. Many institutions conducts entrance examination and some do admission on the basis of marks scored in class 12 board examination. There are many government colleges in Mumbai, please mention the particular institute in which you want to take admission into the B.sc Nursing course.

Ive scored 487/650 in hsc (Maharashtra Board) 2020. Am i eligible in top 20 percentile of 2020 , to appear for jee in 2021?

ayushagarwal0909 15th Oct, 2020

Hey

IIT NIT admission requires that you have a minimum of 75% marks in your boards or be among the top 20 percentile of the students .

As your score is 487/650, your percentage is 74.92.

It is very much likely that you would be in the top 2 percentile of the people but there is no hundred percent surety.

You can contact your school and ask them about the same. They would give you the precise information.

Thankyou

Ive got 64% in HSC Board Exams. If i get low percentile in MHT-CET I wont be able to take admission in a good college. So now I tried to take admission in Bsc. but all admissions are closed. so after MHT-CET Result, How can I be able to take admission in a Bsc. College?

Raychel 13th Oct, 2020

Dear student,

Hello there, I hope you are doing well. You see BSC admission are based on the Mark's you get during your 12th board in most of the cases. So if you score well during your 12th class you are sure to get admission. The minimum cut off Mark's required are 55% actually but this can vary from institutions to institutions. Some colleges may keep a high cut off while few may keep it low, this also depends on which bacholes course you want like BSC in computer science  or chemistry, biology, physics or anything else. If you really want to do BSC and you are not getting admission this year there are 2 options at your disposal,

  1. Try your admission next year.
  2. Try in another neighbouring state like Goa.

This is 1 way out for you. If a situation arises when in you cant get admission than apply for some small time courses that will helps you be it in computer or diploma courses. Dont loose your touch with studies that's the main point. Or you can prepare for some entrance exams.

Hope this helps.

please maam and sir please help me out I got only 50% in HSC from science stream with physics chemistry maths and biology what can I study now which will be best course for me in the future please help me out sir madam please

Mrinalini Sarkar 7th Oct, 2020

Hello,

So Honestly with only 50% it is hardly possible to continue with science stream in the future. In my opinion you yourself should not choose as it will be easier to focus on streams good for your future. Even if you really like science I would not suggest than because getting admission will not be possible and even if you go through management quota it will not help you. You could look for other options like law, journalism, arts. You could choose something creative which don't need any basics. These are also good courses and difficult to get but you won't have to face the struggle for not being able to fulfill the requirement of PCM or PCB.

Good luck.

Hello aspirant ,

You definitely need to appear for CET examination again to be eligible for getting admission in associated colleges.

You can reappear for your 12 improvement from open schooling ( to get improvement in required subjects) which would further help you to boost up your preparations.
