Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination
For CLAT, Mathematics comes under Quantitative Techniques section. And this section includes short set of facts or prepositions, graphs, or other textual, pictorial or diagrammatic representations of numerical information followed by a series of questions. You need to apply 10th standard mathematical operations on ratios and proportions, basic algebra, mensuration and statistical estimation.
For AILET, There will be 10 questions from Mathematics Section.
For HSEE, you need to prepare on topics like Numbers, Algebra, High Common Factor and Lowest Common Multiple, Calendar, Basic Statistics, Profit and Loss, Percentages, Simple and Compound Interest, Work and time, Discount, Age, Sums, Linear Equations, Elementary Trigonometry, Data Interpretation, Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Brain-teasers and patterns.

The minimum marks required to qualify in HSEE is different for different categories.The result will be declared on May 15.The minimum percentage required to be on the merit list is given below :
General - 50%
SC/ ST /PwD- 25%
OBC NCL - 45%

Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE) has been postponed by IIT Madras due to outbreak of COVID-19. This test is conducted in CBT (Computer based Test) mode, so you will be provided rough sheets for calculations and virtual calculator or any other digital electronic devices are strictly prohibited.

In pen and paper mode test one need to fill his roll number, set of paper etc. Similarly when the computer based test are taken the PC already shows your login id or name or both . You need to enter either your roll number or password. The conductor at the centre before commencing the exam gives the guidelines about what to do and what not to do. So don't worry. When you will reach the exam centre follow the guidelines given. If you didn't understand something you can ask them for help.

HSEE is conducted in online and offline.Part 1 is conducted in online mode and part 2 is conducted in offline mode.For online exam mode you will be displayed the questions on the computer console and the questions are of Multiple Choice Questions so 4 options will be displayed along with the question, you can click on the appropriate option to mark it as an answer.All the instructions will be displayed prior to exam kindly read them carefully before attempting the exam.
