You can surely aspire to become a software engineer in IAF. For this you should be a graduate for applying in IAF. After that you should apply for their technical branch , administration branch and flying branch. AFCAT is very important entrance test for this which you must be opted. This will held twice a year by IAF. At last as per your preference you should have opted for EKT (ENGINEERING KNOWLEDGE TEST) which is fully computer based, conduct by IAF .

Getting into ISRO in a permanent position is quite the task. You can get apprenticeship there after Btech in Electrical and electronics engineering. There is a position of Scientist/Engineer but it is offered to electronics/civil/mechanical engineering degree holders. JRF is a contract based position that you are eligible for. After joining IAF training.you can apply for study leave to appear for the third and final examination for your graduation. On the other hand it will be better for you to complete your graduation and then join IAF or Army or Navy whatever you can avail of the opportunity or whatever will be your interest for. This is because the reviews information says that after servicing of 8 to 10 years you will get the promotion in IAF. The salary will be hiked at that point but the career prospect will be not so bright. But if you complete your graduation and join in MBA course with CAT GMAT Xat exams your career will be better than IAF services.

The minimum height for Flying Branch in Indian Airforce for both men and women is 162.5 cm. In addition to this the candidate must have the acceptable measurements of leg length, thigh length and sitting height for such aircrew which is given below
The candidates will be screened for their height and weight at AFSB. If the candidates do not meet the height criterion then such candidates will be further tested at AFSB.

Indian Air force mentions the eligibility criteria of afcat 2021 in its official notification. Candidates who fulfill all the eligibility criteria can apply the afcat examination.
The eligibility criteria is as follows:-
1-For flying branch candidates must be between 20 and 24 years of age and for ground duty candidates must be between 20 and 26 years of age.
2-Candidates must be graduates. Final year students can also apply for the afcat. They should have scored atleast 60% marks in the last semester.
3-In 12th candidates must have secured 60% marks in physics and mathematics.

Hello Student , In IAF ground duty for a candidate eyesight should be such as follows:-
A minimum 6/9 in each eye correctable to 6/6 each eye. Wearing of glasses is compulsory for visual equity is below 6/6. Corrected visual equity will be 6 / 6 in the better eye and 6/18 in the worst eye.

If you want to join Indian Air Force then you have to take Science stream in class 11. And study for good marks. Infact you can pursue BTech degree before join IAF. If you want to join coaching centre then so many are present like
But I'll said you now focusing on your study then you can prepare yourself.

First of All, Syllabus for Indian Air Force Group Y exam is vast and deep. But still I would say you don't need to join any coaching for this. There are number of educational videos (related to topics like English language, Reasoning and Current Affairs), on YouTube which is available for free and they have explained ever topic in Very easy way.
If you study while being focused and with full dedication then you don't need to join any coaching. Moreover, YouTube creators aslo launches series for Group Y exams, so you will get complete knowledge from there. You can their luve classes as well, so why need coaching? You will only waste your energy and time if you will join any coaching in future.
Remember, you will get only 45 minutes for this exam, so don't only focus to cover every portion, try to solve Questions as fast as possible, your speed matters a lot in this examination.

Earlier IAF group Y exams were scheduled to be held from April 18th but due to this COVID-19 pandemic, this exam has been postponed. Look, there will be three sections in the Question paper of IAF group Y,
1. English Language
2. Reasoning and General Awareness
You will be rewarded with 1 mark for ever correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong attempted Question. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions. The duration of the exam would be 45 minutes.
