The salary offered to an ECE graduate from a tier3 college is the same I.e; in the range of 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. But it is specific for the roles the job is given to the student. IBM is an IT company that hires in bulk for various roles like SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ENGINEER, SOFTWARE ENGINEER, TESTING ENGINEER, ANALYSTS, SYSTEM ENGINEER. The hiring is done by several rounds before final selection.

If the candidate even from the ECE branch( Non-technical) branch is an enthusiast for technologies and is skilled enough for handling the role of SDE there is no differentiation in hiring from none IT/CS branches.

Even the candidate who is not comfortable with technologies but somehow got selected can not deny it because jobs are scarce for plenty of people.

Yes you can do BCA with machine learning or artificial intelligence course. But this criteria is different for every state. But most common criteria candidate have to pass 10+2 in science. And commerce students also do this course. But you have to 45 % marks in your 12th result. So just check which college you want to admission. Because they check your 12th result and give your admission. Sometimes some colleges organized entrance examination then you will give it.
