You are not late at all because IBPS RRB offer different posts which have different age eligibilty so for a post of Office Assistant maximum age limit is 28 years whereas for Officer Scale-III it is 40 years. So you have enough time to prepare for it until

To apply for IBPS Exams, you must possess a bachelor degree. If you're within the final year of your degrees, you're not eligible.

On the other hand, if you are waiting for your results to come, you can surely apply for IBPS exams.
