Which college is better SICSR for MBA in IT or IBS Hyderabad?

Shiksha 12th Mar, 2020

Hello!

If we compare both of these colleges,

SICSR: fees is 12,08,600 (total fees) and average placements is 5.87 lacs pa, highest being 7.75 lacs.

IBS Hyderabad: fees is  lacs 16 lacs (total fees) and average placements is 8 lacs pa, highest being 16.05 lacs (domestic) & 40 lacs (international)

If you want to study in technical terms that is purely IT then you should opt for Sicsr but if you want to study overall management with IT for business specifically then you should opt gor ibs Hyderabad.

The fees for ibs Hyderabad is high but it has a good brand name when it comes to mba. Many companies visit the campus. Seats are more in ibs Hyderabad and sicsr seats are less.

I hope this helps.

I have got 89.66% in selection and got bangalore campus is there chances of getting IBS hyderabad.

Pompi Bhadra 22nd Apr, 2020

Hello Simmy!

You may find in various sources that the cutoff percentile for IBS Hyderabad is 68+ or between 71-75. But selection is usually started from 93% onwards and it is subject to decrease with respect to the number of applicants and the scores obtained by them. Although, as you have a decent percentile, you may get shortlisted and receive a call for GD-PI for Hyderabad campus. But you will really have to stand out in the process as the ratio of selected candidates to that of shortlisted ones is 1200:20000. So, focus more on GD-PI if the process is not over yet.

Best wishes for the future!

should I consider taking admission in ibs hyderabad?

Mayank Chowdhary 4th Mar, 2020

Hi Saurabh!! Hope you are doing well!! According to me, IBS Hyderabad would be a good choice for completing your mba course. IBS Hyderabad will charge you alot of money in terms of fees and there are less chances that you will get placed at a good place. It won't be a good return on investment and i would say a waste of money. The studying environment is also not good and its faculties are also below average . Theri exam pattern can also exhaust you. So in my opinion you should try some other great business schools in india rather than going here. Keep it as your last option.

Which MBA college is better, IBS Hyderabad or NMIMS Indore?

TANUJ JAIN 27th Feb, 2020

Hey Vishal,

These both colleges are the one of the most best colleges for MBA in India.

But NMIMS institute has a brand name which can add up toyour CV. NMIMS Indore is also AMBA accredited, which matches global standards in education.

Whereas IBS is been there since a long time and has established a good base among corporations in the city who queue its placement season.

Choose your college wisely, in the end it does not matter the most.

Thank You.

can you provide the sequence of college best for MBA Finance IBS Hyderabad ITM Navi Mumbai IMI Kolkata IMI Bhubaneswar

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 3rd Feb, 2020
Among the colleges you've mentioning IBS Hyderabad would be the best option. The academic fees is 14.1 lakhs and the average compensation package offered there is 7-8 lakhs. The highest compensation package being offered is 50 lakhs by Tolaram Group. Reputed companies like Amazon, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Amul, Maruti Suzuki and others visit the campus.

After that IMI Bhubaneshwar and Kolkata campuses would be good. The fees is nearly 12 lakhs for both IMI Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar. The average package offered there is nearly 6-7 lakhs

And then you can think of ITM Navi Mumbai. The fees is nearly 10.5 lakhs.

All the 4 colleges are good for marketing and finance and have a good reputation in industry.

Good Luck
