In order to study B.Tech agricultural engineering in colleges under ICAR exam you have to appear the exam in PCM(not PCB/ACB) which is mandatory for other B.Tech courses also(i.e b.tech dairy tech , b.tech biotech and b.tech food tech)

According to the previous year cutoff :-
BHU the cutoff is expected of 485+
CCAU the cutoff is expected of 465+
GBPAU the cutoff is expected 455+ and the minimum cutoff is expected of 243 marks in icar exam
However, the competent authority, ICAR, may provide the relaxation in ICAR cut off marks, in case the required numbers of candidates to be called for counselling is not available.
General and UPS category candidates must secure the minimum of 50% cut off in order to qualify. While, that for SC/ST/PC categories, it is 40%.

The ICAR All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) is conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in agriculture and allied sciences.
ICAR AIEEA 2020 exam dates have not been declared by the NTA. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, ICAR AIEEA 2020 has been postponed for both UG and PG course admissions. As per the earlier shared dates, ICAR AIEEA (All India Entrance Examination for Admission) was to be conducted on June 1, 2020.

For giving ICAR AIIEA (PG) exam only those candidates are eligible who have completed their degrees from private or govt. colleges/universities accredited by the ICAR(Indian Council of Agricultural Research).So you need to check if your university is accredited by ICAR or not.

Generally ICAr do not previous year questions and all so it can be little tricky but questions are pretty direct and not that tough as compare to JEE mains or NEET.
As questions are more and time is less, focus on basics and a set of standard questions from any good book.
Remember the basic formulas as questions are generally direct. For Biology, NCERT books can be helpful.

So Yes it is true the graduation degree should be from colleges/universities those are accredited by the ICAR.

Hello student. For these universities, here are the cut off last year
1. NIAM jaipur - 70 to 75 percentile for the year 2019
2. ICAR(NAARM) Hyderabad - minium 75 percentile
3. MANAGE hderabad- for this, you need to get around 80 to 85 percentile to get a call. This is the tougher one since after getting the call too, there are rounds which would be a bit tough compared to the above too. But the good university.Little efforts would fetch a seat here.
